A RICH GOLD MINE
The Kellogg gold mine, one of the

the surfaoe in great quantities, ami
afterwards in large lumps, as lur

mainly to surface work and delv

man can follow, yiit it is strange in
deed so few seem to realize this fact
for there archill alwnit 15 per cent,
of the population of the U. S. who,
are engaged in farming. A farm
properly conducted, in our opinion,
is not one that is mortgaged to some
moony loaning association, and tin
sliKjk on it mortgaged for home
supplies, hut it is one that is kept
in a fertile stall 1 by home made mil
nures ami produces every thing in
abundance that is needed and con

Farming is an important, honors

should lie watch, il with the s uite

One of the farmer correspoiidents
of the AiiVani'K, very aptly ami

we must live by farming.” One's l>

all try to increase the crops and our
interest in growing them.
