approximately two miles, and to the
culverts is Holly Springs, Ga., which
is approximately 1 1-2 miles to the
sites.
The bridge will consist of two
concrete abutments, three concrete
piers, five concrete pile bents 2-44’
and 7-20’ spans of beam type floor
system which contains approximate
ly 445 C. Yards concrete and
67745 lbs steel.
The culverts each consists of two
abutments, no piers and 1-10’ 1-20’
slab top type floor system which con
tains approximately 210 C. Yds. con
crete and 4565 lbs steel.
Bids will also be received on con
crete arch culverts and bridges. The
approximate quantities of same are
748 yards of concrete and 19170 lbs
of steel.
Bidders must submit a separte bid
<for each bridge and culvert. Plans

fice, and in the office of the State
Highway Engineer, at Atlanta, Ga.,
and in the office of Project Engi
neers Johnston & Morgan, 500 For

Proposals shall be submited on re
gular form which wil be suppied by
the Engineers, and must be accom
panied by a certified check, or money

24th day of February, 1919, we, the
undersigned commissioners, will sell
at the Court House door, at Canton,
Ga., between the legal hours of sale
on the first Tuesday in June, 1919,
the following described property to-
wit: It being in Cherokee County,
State of Georgia, and in the 14th
District and 2nd Section and being
lot of land No. 38, and 40 acres of
lot of land No. 71, being all of the
said ast mentioned ot lying west of
the road leading from Cook’s bridge
to Canton, Ga., said entire tract con
sisting of 200 acres, more or less.

Cherokee County, Ga., described as
