We your committee appointed to
draw up resolutions of respect on
1 the death of Bro. Geo. B. Miller, beg
to submit the following:
i Bro .Miller (better known as
'George Miller) was reared and pass
ed nearly all his life in this county.
Ho married the daughter of J. W.
Reece who survives him.
Bro. Miler was night guard at tjie
convict enmp in this county for some
time and while at this work his
health gave away on him and he
never did gain it hack.
He was living in Atlanta at the
time of his death, conducting a small
grocery.
Bro. Miller was a member of the
Methodist church belonging at Shi-
loah. His remains were brough hack
and placed by the side of his babe in
Shiloah cemetery, on May 2b, 15)22.
Therefore Be it resolved, That
Holly Springs Lodge No. Ob T. O. O
F., hns lost another faithful mem
ber and his wife a faithful husban 1,
and let us how in humble submission
to the Noble Grand above who doeth
all things well. |
Resolved, Thnt we spread a copy j
of these resolutions on our minutes
and have a copy printed in the
Cherokee Advance, and furnish his
widow a copy of the same. .
