TgfflE SOUTHERN MUTUAL has lover
fi rates than are charged by any good Northern
Company, for residents in the South.
From these low rates, it deducts twenty-five per
cent, for the first year’s premium.
All profits are divided annually, among the in
sured, in cash.
Its dividend for 1856 is ten per cent, on the re
newal premiums.
The insured may travel to any part of the United
States, except to New Orleans, Galveston, Ac., dur
; inw the epidemics of Summer and Autumn.
The amount insured may be made payable to a
wife, or to children, or to wife and children, with
out the intervention of a trustee.
All funds of the Company are invested in State
Stocks, or in Bonds and Mortgages on Real Estate
worth three times the loan.
