Remember, this is the ; only true and original article. Head the following Certificate: Tallapoosa Co., Ala., Jan. 2, 1855. Dear Sir — I send you this to certify to you that your Extract of \ ellow Dock and Sarsaparilla has performed one of the most wonderful cures on me that has ever been effected on man. 1 have been afflicted for forty years'witb erup tions on mv legs and feet; in 1848 they got so bad that I had t'o go on crutches, and in 1848 I had one leg amputated above the knee. In about nine months after my other leg broke out in large eating and running sores, from mv knee to my foot, and discharged a great deal of offensive matter. My groin also broke out in large biles, which diseharg ed much offensive matter, and at the same time my left hand broke out in large running sores nearly to my elbow. The misery that I have suffered for the last two years. I cannot describe to you. I was in such ag iinv that I never rested day or night. In October last, my son brought me one of your bottle wrappers; I read it, a id found record of some wonderful cures performed by vour “Extract of i Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla;” 1 sent and got two 1 bottles of it, and commenced taking it. In two ! ' weeks, to my great astonishment, my sores all be- f | came easy, and 1 could sleep all night, a thing I had i not done for two years. When I had taken six bot- S ties, mv sores had nearly all healed. My sore got well us if by enchantment. I have now used in all eight bottles of your “Extract of Yellow Dock and i Sarsaparilla,” and I now consider mysel well. I entreat all of the afflicted to try this medicine, for I believe it will cure any known disease in the j world. Lay aside all prejudice and just try it, and proclaim its great worth to suffering mankind, and entreat them to take it, for it will cure them. My case is well known in a large portion of Sonth Carolina, Georgia and Alabama, and if any should , ! doubt the above cure, I invite them to call on me, and I will show them the scars. I can be found in i Tallepoosa county - , Ala., one mile from Stoe’s Ferry BEXAJAH HUGHES. The Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla is peculiarly ] adapted for females of delicate health, resulting I from irregularity - of menstrual discharges, and oth er diseases peculiar to their sex. The proprietor has in his possession a great number of certificates of cures performed, of the above description. We assure the afflicted, that a bottle or two of Dr. Guv sott's Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla will ! at once regulate those difficulties, and.renew the | natural energies. HOW DISEASED ACTION BECOMES EST tPI rim. AND THE BLOOD IMPURE.' J A great erroi has long prevailed in the minds of ms i ical men, That Impinitv of the Blood i-- the Cause*. Diseased Action.” This i.s a serious mistake. disturbance of the circulation, and the establishment of diseased action, that causes impurity of the blood ' The R R R. theory holds the truth of the above max itus, for if a person he in a state of perfect health each artery and vein must carry to and fr-m the heart i*< allotted proportion oi b ood. and when any set of re'- aels refuse ,be the cause what it may) to carry the r proportion, the current of blood becomes dammed upl. in other words, a congestion takes place, giving pain to a greater or less extent Here, then, is the beginning of diseased action, which, it not relieved, will soon tun into inflammation and the disease becomes established Diseased action being once established, the blood be comes impure, and the regularity of action on the oart of the Liver/6ki . Rowels, <Yc . is sure to be interrm-t. ed and the general system, by sympathising with th* local complaint, becomes involved in the difficulty. That this is the true state of the case, let any one call to mrd hifl symptoms on catching cold. The local difficulty m&v be a sore throat, which is a congestion of the blood, amounting (someth' es) to an inflammation about the throat, owing to a previous deranged state of the cir culation. and he will remember that his bowels become costive, his liver deranged, or his skin dry, and his blood impure Had he used Radway’s Ready Relief when the congestion was setting in.as an application to the throat and swallowed a dose of the Regulators, he would have broken up the congestion, and restored the regularity ou the part of the liver, skin, bowels, See . which had been broken in upon by the effects of the sore throat Regularity being again established, the impure blood in soon purified, and the circulation again equalized, ana the health restored.
