Sill!! subscriber would respectfully call the ■ aattentionof the Merchants throughout Geor | gia, Tennessee, Alabama, and South Carolina, to I tlie Savannah River, as a safe, expeditious and ! cheap route for the transportation of their Merchan dise. By comparing the freight tariffs of this line with those of the South Carolina, and Central, and Waynesboro’ Railroads, it will show a result in fa vor of this route of from 30 to 50 per cent., gener ally, and in some instances a greater per centage. fly this route a merchant receives each shipment of liis Goods together; they are not retailed bv him as they generally are by Railroads connecting with the seaboard, with a list of charges attached to each package. In addition to the present force of this line, an othernew Boat, of light draught of water, will be added during the coming summer. These boats will leave Savannah after the discharge of the New York and Philadelphia Steamships, twice or three ! times a week, delivering those Goods at this point ' h> FIVE DAYS. From the present low tariff of this line a dedue- I tionof 12E, per cent, will be allowed on all bills j from this date. Give the river more business, and j a cheaper freight yet awaits you. All goods from the seaboard should be directed to M. A. COHEN, Savannah, and produce from the interior to JNO. A. MOORE,, Augusta. To the manufacturing portion of Georgia, as well a-to the Cotton Merchants, and dealers generally, on the line of Railroads through Georgia and Ten nessee, who ship to Savannah and Northern mar kets, this route offers very favorable inducements. To sac ilitate shipments, as well as to prevent er ; rors. bills of lading should be forwarded to M. A. i COHEN, at Savannah, forall goods from seaboard. ' JNO. A. MOORE. Incase of low river, all goods consigned to this line, will be forwarded by Central, ana connecting Railroads. IS now put up in the largest sized bottles, and is acknowledged to be the best Sarsaparilla made, | as is certified by the wonderful cures it has per formed, the original copies of which are in the pos session of the proprietor. Remember, this is the only true and original article. Head the f>D//wing Certificate: Tallapoosa Co., Ala., Jan. 2,1855. Dear Sir — l send you this to certify to you that j your Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla has ' performed one of the most wonderful cures on me l that has ever been effected on man. I have been afflicted for forty yearsjyvith erup- I tions on my legs and feet; in 1848 they got so bad i that I had to go on crutches, and in 184!) I had one leg amputated above the knee. In about nine months after my other leg broke out in large eating and running sores, from mv knee to my foot, and discharged a great deal of offensive matter. My groin also broke out in large biles, which discharg ed much offensive matter, and at the same time my left hand broke out in large running sores nearly to my elbow. The misery that I have suffered for the last two years, I cannot describe to you. I was in such ag ony that I never rested day or night. In October last, my son brought me one of your bottle wrappers; I read it, a id found record of some wonderful cures performed by your “Extract of i Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla;” 1 sent and got two j bottles of it, and commenced taking it. In two . I weeks, to my great astonishment, my sores all be ! came easy, anil I could sleep all night, a thing I had i not done for two years. When I hud taken six bot ! ties, my sores had nearly all healed. My sore got well as if by enchantment. I have now used in all I eight bottles of your “ Extract of Yellow Dock and I Sarsaparilla,” and I now consider mysel well. | I entreat all of the afflicted to try this medicine, i for I believe it will cure any known disease in the | world. Lay aside all prejudice and just try it, and | proclaim its great worth to suffering mankind, and entreat them to take it, for it will cure them. My case is well known in a large portion of South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama, and if any should doubt the above cure, I invite them to call on me, and I will show them the scars. I can be found in Tallepoosa county, Ala.,one mile from Stoe’s Ferry BENAJAH HUGHES. j The Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla is peculiarly adapted for females of delicate health, resulting from irregularity of menstrual discharges, and oth er diseases peculiar to their sex. The proprietor has iu his possession a great number of certificates of cures performed, of the above description. We assure the afflicted, that a bottle or two of Dr. Guy : sou’s Extract of Yellow Dock and Sarsaparilla will j- I at once regulate those diiliculties, and M renew the I natural energies. ’ 1 Put up in quart bottles—Price $1 per bottle. 1 Sold, wholesale and retail, bv SCOVIL A MEAD, 111 Chartres-st., New Orleans. | General Agents for the Southern States, to whom • j all orders must be addressed.
