At Thomxim, (ieoryiw.
THE undersigned having permanently located
as Teachers, respectfully solicit the patronage
of their friends and the public generally. Front
several years’ experience in teaching, and a con
stant attention to the duties of their profession,
they flatter themselves that the system of instruc
tion which they are now prepared to give Students
pursuing a regular classical course, cannot be sur
passed in any similar Institution in the State. To
parents, therefore, designing to give their sons a
Collegiate education, their services are especially
tendered, since a thorough acquaintance with the
preparatory studies is indispensable to the Stu
dent’s progress throughout his whole course. Their
Acadentv Pupils will be prepared to enter the high
er classes of College, or if preferred, thoroughly
instructed in a more practical and business course.
The accessibility, health and quietness of their
1 station—its freedom from scenes and causes of
dissipation—induce them to hope for a continuance
of that liberal patronage, which for many years
thev have not failed to secure.
A strict regard will be paid to moral training,
and the general deportment of each pupil carefully

MILL’S PATENT PLCW STOCK!
npilE undersigned has invented and patented :
OTvv/-^- mOSt valuaWe improvement in the PLOW
i ii TT~" the , count y rights for which he desires to j
i r C P re ‘ ers to let others .-peak its praise, and
therefore introduces the following certificates front ■
two planters, well and favorably known in the !
| community in which they reside. He might in- ;
! troduce many others, but the Plow Stock will !
i speak for itself whenever examined.
... . . JAMES B. MELL. I
Hiceboro , Liberty county, Ga.
j ‘ —‘
This is to certify that I have, with my own hunds 1
thoroughly tested the newly invented Plow Stock j
! -mmes B. Mell, Esq. In point of simplicity and
perfection, 1 have never seen or used its equal In
uts combined every thing that I could wish in a !
Flow Mock, and it, in my opinion is the cheapest
and the best that has ever been offered to the pub- I
ic- 1 speak from having used it with mv own I
hands. I was raised to follow the plow, and think i
that 1 know how one ought to run. I would cheer- !
1 til !y thank anyone, who will thoroughly trv it, to i
j point out to me one siugle fault in iiT It is' easier j
upon the horse and the plowman than any that I I
have ever used.
The principle upon which you regulate the depth
of the Plow is so simple, and yet so perfect, us to
1 commend itself to any one; and the Stock is adapt
ed to any kind of Plow Hoe. If is, moreover, just
as light as any could desire it to he. I would re
commend to any and all, if thev n ish the best and
; cheapest Plow Mock, without Hesitation to o*t Mr
James B. Hell’s. f>. \\'. AYilsov ’
Penfield, Ga., April 15, 1856.
In company with several others, I, this dav wit
nessed the trial of Mr. James B. Moll’s Plow Stock
by Mr. I). \V. Wilson, and cheerfullv state that ali
present were fully satisfied that it does everything
as stated above. I would, moreover, state that'?
have been using them on my farm for several
months, and every day serves to confirm me in the
opinion of the superiority of .Mr. Meliks Plow Stock
to all other.-now in use. Thomas P Jakes

Arnic a liniment, for burns,
Arc.—A supply of this very desirable article,
j (which should be kept in every family) ready for
i use, may be obtained at the City Drug Store, where
it is for sale at only 50 cents per bottle. Having
been burnt severely myself with Burning Fluid, I
j tried every remedy proposed by my friends, but
found, front experience, they were noyo. On using
the Arnica Liniment, as per directions, it afforded
immediate relief. I therefore can speak-from ex- l
perience. This invaluable oleaginous Linameut j
acts likcmagic, in removing the most acute pain, j
by Burns, and seldom requires more than two or !
three applications to relieve and cure those of a !
severe character, either from Burning Fluid, Cam- |
phine. Powder or Fire. This article is prepared :
only by my self, and having tried its efficiency, be
lieve it is the best remedx that can be used, when
ever the case requires, for sale bv
