An extensive trial of their virtues, by Professors, Physicians and Patients, has shown cures of dangerous diseases almost beyond belief, were they not substantiated by persons of such exalted position and character as to forbid the suspicion of untruth. Their certificates are published in my American Almanac, which the Agent:, below named are pleased to furnish free to all inquiring. Annexed we give Directions for their use in the com plaints which they have been found to cure. j For Costiveness —Take one or two Pills, or such quantity as to gentlv more the bowels. Costiveness is frequently the aggravating cause of Pipes, and the cure of one complaint is the cure of both. No person can . feel well while under a costive habit of body. Hence ' it should be, as it can be, promptly relieved. For Dyspepsia, which is sometimes the cause of C os tiveness, and always uncomfortable, take mild doses— from one to sou stimulate the stomach and liver into healthy action. They will do it, and the heartburn , j bodyburti aud soulburn of dyspepsia will rapidly disap pear. When it has gone, don't forget what cured you. For a Foul Stomach, or Morbid Inaction of the Bowels, which produces general depression of the spit - its aud bad health, take from four to eight Pills at first, aud smaller doses afterwards, until activity and strength j is restored to the system. . For Nervousness, Sick Headache, Nausea, ram in the Stomach. Back , or Side, take from four to eight Pills on going to bed. If they do not operate sufbcieut ■ ly, take more the next day until they do. These com plaints will he swept out from the system. Don t wear these and their kindred disorders because your stomach is foul. For Scrofula. Erysipelas, and all Diseases of tne Skin, take the Pills freely and frequently, to keep the bowels open. The eruptions will generally soon begin to diminish and disappear. Many dreadful ulcers ard sores have been healed up by the purging and purifying effect of these Pills, aud some disgusting diseases winch seemed to saturate the whole system, have completely yielded to their influence, leaving the sufferer in perfect I health. Patients! your duty to society forbids that you should parade yourself around the world covered with pimples, blotches, ulcers, sores, and all or any of the unclean diseases of the skin, because your system wants : cleans'ng. To Pukify the Blood, they are the best medicine ! ever discovered They should be taken freely and fre quently. and the impurities which sow the seeds of in curable diseases, will be swept out of the system like chaff before the wind, liy this property they do as much j good in preventing sickness as by the remarkable cures which they are making everywhere. Liver Complaint. Jaundice, and all Bilious AJf.c- I lions arise from some derangement—either torpidity, congestion, or obstructions of the Liver. Torpidity aDd congestion vitiate the bile a'd render it unlit for diges tion. This is disastrous to the health, and the consti tution is frequently undermined by no other cause. In digestion is the symptom. Obstruction of the duct which empties the bile into the stomach causes the bile to overflow into the blood. This produces Jaundice, w ith a long and dangerous train of evils. Costiveness, or alternately costiveness and diarrhoea, prevails. Fe verish symptoms, languor, low spirits, weariness, rest iessness and melancholy, with sometimes inability to ; sleep, and sometimes great drowsiness; sometimes there j i s severe pain in the side ; the skin and the white of the eyes become a greenish yellow : the stomach acid , the ! bowels sore to the touch ; the whole system irrltuh e, with a tendency to fever, which may turn to bilious fe ,l ver, bilious colic, bilious diarrhoea, dysentery.&c A ; medium dose of three or four Pills taken at uight. fol lowed by two or three in the morning, and repeated a 1 few days, will remove the cause of all these troubles. It is wicked to suffer such pains when you can cure ; j them for 25 cents. Rheumatism. Gout, anti nil TnJtajtimatoiy revers \ are rapidly cured by the purifying effects of these Pills upon the blood and the stimulus which they afford to the vital principle of Life. For these and all Kindred complaints, they should be taken in mild doses, to move j the bowels gently, but freely. As a Dinner Pill, this is both agreeable and useful. No Pill cau be made mere pleasant to take, and cer ; tainlv none has been made more effectual to the pur- I pose for wiiisU a Dinner Dili is employed. Prepared by J. C. HOW DISEASED ACTION BECOMES ESTABLISHED AND THE BLOOD IMPURE. A great error has long prevailed in the minds of meJ ■ ical men, ‘* That Impurity of the Blood is the Cau-e o f ■ Diseased Action.” This is a serious mistake. It is a disturbance of the circulation and the establishmeutuf i diseased action, that causes impurity of the blood. The R R. It. theory holds the truth of the above mar iins, for if a person be in a state of perfect health, each artery and vein must carry to and from the heart it a allotted proportion of blood, and when any set of ve : selsrefuse ,be the cause what it may) to carry their proportion, the curreht of blood becomes dammed up iu other words, a congestion takes place, giving pain to a greater or less extent. Here, then, is tlie beginning of diseased action, which, if not relieved, will soon run into inflammation, aud the disease becomes established. Diseased action being once established, the blood te ‘ comes impure, and the regularity of aetiou on the part i of the Liver, Skin. Bowels, Ac, is sure to be interrupt ; ed. and the general system, by sympathising with tin, i local complaint, becomes involved in the difficulty. That ' this is the true state of the case, let any one call to mind ' his .symptoms on catching cold. The local difficulty may : be a sore throat, which is a congestion of the blocs , amounting (sometimes) to an intlammation about the ’ : throat, owing to a previous deranged state ofihecir * culation. and he will remember that his bowels become costive, his liver deranged, or his skin dry, and his blood impure. Had lie used Radway’s Heady Relief when the * , congestion was retting in,as an application to the thro»!, and swallowed a dose of the Regulators, he would haie 1 broken up the congestion, aud restored the regularit. | on the part of the liver, skin, bowels. Ac., which hri 1 been broken in upon by the effects of the sore throe*. , Regularity being again established, the impure blood iv soon purified, and the circulation again equalized, ant I the health restored.
