THE Board of Commissioners of the "Georgia 'Asylto for the Deaf and Dumb,” recently appointed by his Ex cellency. desire to call the attention of those interested, to this Institution as being now in readiness for the reception of pupils. The enlargement and repairs ot the building, nr vided for by the legislature of 1555 ar.d 1866, have been entirely completed, and the who*c edifice, being well arrange.l, and happily adapt ed to the education of this unfortunate class, presents a most tasteful appearance. Comfortable accommodations can now be furnished for over one hundred pupils. Will not the friends of this Institution ii; every county in the State, under whose «ye this notice may fall, urge i he prwents of all Indigent Deaf Mutes to send on their children and avail thems-Ives of this noble charity which the State has generously provided for their wants? We particularly Alldt the aid and co-operation of all ministers of the Gospel of every denomination, in behalf of the Asylum, and request them to ascertain the residence and Post Office address of ail the parents of deaf mutes in the State, and Inform the Board of the same. Those who make application as beneficiaries should bring a certificate signed by two or more Justices of the Inferior Court of the comity in which such applicant resides, certifying that lie or she is over seven and under twenty four years old, in in digent circumstances, and unable to educate themselves, free . y from immoral conduct, or any contagious disease.
