Ten Thousand Cabinet Organs Per Annum. —Mason & Hamlin, the famous cabinet organ makers, are again obliged to add to their manufacturing facilities, which have been doubled about every three years since they commenced busi ness. So great is the reputation of their work and so large the demand for it that there has been no time for years when they have not been largely behind orders. Recently they purchased some two acres of ground in Cambridgeport, on which is now completed another large new factory. This, with their other fac tories, will give them capacity to pro duce two hundred cabinet organs each week, or over Ten Thoudand per annum. They are, of course, much the largest manufacturers of this class of instru ments in the world. They are introducing improvements in their organs, the present season, which they regard as very valuable, and for which patents were granted them in June and August last.— Boston Advertiser. A TORPID SYSTEM. Sometimes, without any assignable cause, the physical strength and animal spirits give away, and a strange torpor tails alike on the body 7 and intellect. There is little or no pain perhaps, but the natural vigor and elasticity of the nervous and muscular system seems to have departed, and an indifference to the pleasures of life, and even of its grave responsibilities, takes the place of that earnest interest in both which charac terizes every well balanced mind when in a healthy condition. This state of partial collapse is often the premonitory symptoms of some serious malady. It indicates unmis takably that the vital powers are lan guishing and need a stimulant. In such eases the effect of a few doses of Hostct ter's Stomach Bitters is wonderfully beneficial. The great, tonic wakes up the system from its drowse. Thesecretions and and the circulation receive anew impetus. The relaxed nerves recover their elasticity under the operations of the specific," like the slackened strength of a musical instrument in the process o tuning. Lethargy and debility are re placed by energy and vigor, the spirits rise, and life that almost seemed a bur den with the season of depression lasted, becomes once more enjoyable. That such a radical change should be produc ed by a remedy entirely devoid of the powerful alkaloids and minerals so ex tensively used in modern practice, may seem incredible to those who pin their faith on the medicinal efficacy of active poisons, but if these skeptics will take the trouble to enquire of those who have tested the corrective and alterative vir tues of the Bitters under the circum stances described, they will find the statement to be true. From Dunfanaghy to America! A Story that every Son and Daughter of good old Ireland should read! A story that every Son and Daughter of good old Ireland should read! In Saturdvy Night of This Week. In Saturday Night of This Week. In Saturday Night of This Week READY TO-DAY ! READY TO-DAY! In 1858 our Irish Emigrants were almost at the mercy of the thieves, pickpockets and emigrant run ners who infested Castle Garden. And although the New York authorities attempted to suppress these evils, through the aid of the Commissioners of Emi gration, they were unablo wholly to do so, and many emigrants, instead of being protected in tlieir rights, were robbed, beaten, and in several cases, the j-oung women abducted and carried away to the vile dens in Greenwich Street. The Hero and Heroine of this intensely interesting and affecting story, TIIE IRISH EMIGRANTS, Teddy and liis sister M iry, are true type3 of the warm-hearted sons and daughters of Erin, who, toil ing iu this land—truly the land of the stranger—for the loved ones whom they left behind in the Old Country, are cheered and consoled throughout all the trials and troubles which they here experience by the tender recollections of their far-away home, the aged parents left in the old cabin by the hillside, and the bright-eyed sisters or brothers, who are waiting anxiously for the summons which is to bring about a happy reunion iu a more favored laud. * ‘ln far distant lands, wherever they roam, ’Mid the snow of the North, ’neath the palms of the South, Erin’s warm-hearted sous, in their dreams still return To the green isle of their home, to the land of their birth. They dream of the cabin that stands on the hillside; Os the green, sunny meadows ,where the primroses bloom; They dream of the fields where iu childhood they played, Os the willow that weeps o’er a young brother’s tomb. And sad is the heart of Erin’s poor daughter, As she thiuks of a far away father or mother, And her blue eyes are dimmed with the teardrops of sorrow As she dreams of a bright-eyed sister or brother;” What must make this Story speak direct to the hearts of all our Irish frinds is, that the case of the emigrants whose experience is so feelingly narrated in THE IRISH EMIGRANTS, Is by no means an isolated one. Thousands upon thousands of our readers, we are confident, will cor robate this from their own experience, and will sympathise and be able to fully enter into the gener ous and noble motives which actuated Teddy and Mary, in their unremitting efforts to bring about the happiness and comfort of their aged parents. We are sure we have said enough to excite a warm interest iu this Story, which is begun in this week’s Saturday Night, the best Family Paper published. Every one with a true and warm Irish heart beating within their breasts, cannot but read, with the deepest interests, the recital of the sufferings and trials which some of their own countrymen have experienced. Every one should read THE IRISH EMIGRANTS. It is a plain unvarnished tale of what is going on in our midst every day, unknown to and unnoticed by any, perhaps, but the actors themselves, and a knowledge of which cannot fail, we think, to have a beneficial effect upon tbe minds of all of us, stimulat ing us to a warmer and deeper sympathy than even we now afford for the thousands of emigrants, who, like Teddy and Mary, laud upon our shores, friend less and inexperienced, and who fall victims to the numberless snares and wiles which await them on the very threshold of our land. DAVIS & ELVERSON, Proprietors cf “Saturday Night,” Philadelphia, Pa. oct. 28—It. SEASON OF 1870 71. Mason and Ilamlin Cabinet Organs IMPORTANT IMPROVEMENTS. Fatenttd June2l Hand August 23, ISIO REDUCTION OF PRICES. The Mason & Hamliu Organ Cos. have the pleasure of announcing impel tur.t improvements in their Cabinet Organs, lor which patents were granted them in June and Auguct last. These are not merely meretricious attachments, but enhance the eub-tautial excellence of the intruments. They are also enabled, by increased facilities for manufacture, to make, from this date a fuither reduc tion of prices ou several leading styles. Having completed and added to their former facili ties a large new manufactory, ttiey hope herealter to supply all orders promptly. The Cabinet organs made by this Company are oi such universal reputation, not only throughout America but also in Europe, that lew will need assur ance of their supeiiority. For years the Company have been unable to supply the constantly increasing demand for their instruments being a ways largely behind orders, though producing about twice the amount of work of any other maker of instruments of the class. This extraordinary demand is evidence that they have been successful in carrying into tttect two rules which it is their purpose to adhere to rigidly, so that they may be said to be principles ol their business. These are : 1. To make the very bed work, and only the best; availing themselves of the best results of inventive genius, every improvement, wherever effected, and every facility which highest skill, ample experience and liberal use of abundant means can command. 2. To sell always at the lowest possible, prices, re serving to themselves the lea>t lemuuerative profit. As cost of production is diminished, pi ices are reduc ed, and they always print their lowest prices, which are therefore subject to no discount. The extent ot their bnisness and enormous number of Cabinet Organs which they now have occasion to produce enables them to employ various machinery, and a division of labor which would not be possible in a smaller buisiness. They are thus enabled to make the present reduction in prices, and to sell their work at even less than the prices commonly demanded for in ferior instruments, and less than the cost of produc tion without such extraordinary facilities. They now offer FOUR-OCTAVE CABINET OR GANS, in quite plain case , but equal according to their capacity to anything they make, for SSO each. DR. TUTTS VEGETABLE LIVER RILLS. There are scarcely any diseases in which purgative medicines are not more or less required, and much sickness and suffering might be prevented were they more generally used. No person can feel well while a costive lnbit of body prevails; besides it soon generates serious and often fatal diseases, which might have been avoided by a timely and judicious use of proper Cathartic Medicines. These Pills are invaluable to all who suffer from Bilious and Liver Complaints, Sick Headache, Loss of Appetite, Drowsiness, Giddiness, and especially in digestion, which prevails to an alarming ex'ent in this country at the present day. By the judicious use of TUTT’S LIVER PILLS the bowels may be kept, perpetually, iu a natural condition of good health. They do not act as a merely temporary relief; they keep the human system in a state of sound and vi gorous health, by easily and almost imperceptibly cleansing it of all impurities. It braces and invig orates both the physical and mental organization.. Habitual constipation or costiveness is the fruitful source of innumerable ills; the first of which is im purity of the blood, and as a natural consequence the action of the heart, liver and stomach and kidneys, are disordered, It is unreasonable then expect a return to of health while the cause of these troubles exist, viz.. Constipation or Sluggishness of the Bowels. It is the habit generally adopted to resort to Salts, Castor Oil, Calomel, etc., which only affords temporary relief, leaving the bowels in a tar worse condition after the effects of these medicines have passed off. Dr. Tutt’s Liver Pills moves the bowels to a healthy action, not acting as it were mechanically, but they stimulate the secretions, and iu a healthful and natural manner expels all impurilies without weak ening the body.
