children were shot through the

Mr. Russell stated, before flying,
cried when first shot, lint a second

A Singular Death.
Calhoix, Ga., May 5— Mr.
! Mcshack Boaz, one of Gordon
county s oldest settlers and one
among her most respected citizens
and progressive farmers, died at
bis home, in Sugar Valley district,
yesterday evening, under very pe
collar circumstances and quite tin
expected by himself and family.
Though a man advanced in years,
bring eighty six years of age. Mr.
Boaz was out on his farm, look
