Travers Saab* Stewart.
While I am on liie subject of
heraldry let me recall a good story
credited to William R. Travers.
It was told that when A. T. Stew
art conceived tiie idea of salting
up a coal of arm* lie went to Mr.
Travers for advice. Mr. Travels
suggested an employer rampant,
chasing a lazy salesman with a
yardstick; and Mr. Stewart did
not speak to him again for a J
month. This anecdote is proba
bly about as authentic as the oth
er, which states that Mr. Stewart.

Among the visitors at the Yas-
sar College commencement was a
graduate who has made $10,000
in a unique manner. Upon her
graduation site was promised by
her father $1 for every cent she
earned by working at anything.
She accepted the offer, and entef*

her father had paid her $10,000
