Cheech & Chong gave a swinging teeny-bob Halloween party at the L.A. Roxy Theatre The Augusta News-Review - November 15, 1973 this past Oct. 31st. To the delight of a full house of young, costumed fans, they passed out an abundance of Cheech & Chong T-shirts, toys and prizes from swinging pinatas. In addition, food and drink for both children and parents were provided, buffet style. There was even an organ grinder with a live monkey who begrudgingly shook hands with the excited youngsters. Also on the set, (along with her family), was noted celebrity Carole King and Lou Adler. All had a ball! Our own Quincy Jones has written the theme song for Walter Burrell’s brand, new, nationally syndicated radio show. Those in the Los Angeles area can listen in beginning November 12th on XPRS for taped interviews of all your favorite entertainment people, along with the music of Quincy Jones. Page 7
