MR. & MRS. DAVE MACK SR.
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Mack Sr.
were honored on their 50th
wedding anniversary with a
double ring ceremony given to
them by their children and
grandchildren.
The event took place
Sunday, Dec. 28, 1975 at 4
p.m. at the Williams Memorial
CJW.E. Church. The Rev. J.D.
Williams and the Rev. Gene
Dean performed the cermonies.
Soloists were Mrs. Debra
Wells and Miss Stephanie Mack.
Mr. Ellis Johnson was
accompanist.
Mrs. Mack was given in
marriage by her son, Dave

of the groom, was best man.
Dominic Maok, grandson,
served as usher.
Matron of honor was Mrs.
Inez Mack, daughter-in-law of
the couple. Miss Stephanie
Mack, granddaughter, was maid
of honor. Malinda Etheridge,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Vernon Etheridge was
flowergirl. Mr. Kelvin Griffin,
son of Dr. and Mrs. William
Griffin was ringbearer.
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Mack Sr.,
their sisters and brothers, along
with the wedding party,
formed the receiving line in the
main sanctuary.

Colors of gold, yellow and
white brought about special
feelings of happiness within
those attending the
ceremonies.
Following the ceremonies a
reception attended by
approximately 400 friends and
relatives was held in the
fellowship hall of the church.
Mrs. Nadine Wilson directed
the affair and Mr. Claude
Tillman was caterer.

Honored
The 10th District of the
General Missionary Baptist
Convention of Georgia will
honor Mrs. Gussie Scott for
thirty-four years of
outstanding work that has

done to promote the cause of
missionary growth.
The program will be held
Sunday, Jan. 18 at Beulah
Grove Baptist Church at 7 p.m.
The public is invited to attend.
