Trinity Holds Women’s Day

Speaker for the ocassion was
’'Providing you with
dependable electricity is our job
24 hours a day...every day.”
C. L. Stephens 11, Columbus,
district superintendent
His job: reliable service
Around the clock, even weekends and
holidays, electricity is waiting to work
for you. And Georgia Power people
are working to make sure it’s there.
Charley Stephens is one of those
responsible for providing 24-hour
service. He’s in charge of construction
and maintenance of lines that
serve 61.000 customers in Columbus,
and he’s an expert at the job. Right
now he’s concerned about the rising
costs of lines, poles and other
materials his crews need. Inflation
has forced them steadily upward, just
as it has all the costs of producing
and delivering your electricity—and
all your costs of running a home
or business.
But throughout our company,
people like Charley Stephens are
working to serve you efficiently and
economically. To help hold down the
increasing costs of producing your
electricity—while making sure it’s
ready and waiting when you need it.
