Carlton S. Faulk to Vice
President.
Fault began his career with
C&S-Macon in 1960 as an
administrative assistant. He was
promoted to Assistant Trust
Officer in 1968. He came to
C&S-Augusta in 1971 as Trust
Officer, and was made
Assistant Vice President and
Trust Administrator in 1973.
His responsibilities as Vice
President will continue in Trust
Administration.
A graduate of Twiggs High
Schook, Jeffersonville, Ga.
Faulk received his A.B. degree
from Mercer University in
1959. He is also a graduate of
the Cannon Trust Training
School, Charlotte, N.C. He has
received the pre-standard,
standard, and graduate
certificates from the American
Institute of Banking.
Faulk is a member of the
Augusta Lion’s Club and the
First Baptist Church of
Augusta. He is treasurer and a
board member of the Lynndale
School. He has been active
with the Boy Scouts, the Heart
Fund and the United Way in
Augusta.

The Academy of Richmond
County’s J.R.O.T.C. precision
drill team, the Marching
Musketeers, will host the 3rd
Annual CSRA Invitational Drill
Meet on Saturday, March 19.
This event will be held at the
ARC stadium.
There will be twenty-two
drill teams in competition this
year. Teams from Georgia,
South Carolina and North
Carolina will be present. The
judges will be drill instructors
from Fort Gordon.
The various competition
categories will be individual, all
girls and all boys. Trophies will
be awarded after individual
competition at approximately
5 p.m.
The public is invited to
attend.

Highlights
Activities
Augusta College’s
Department of Business
Administration will offer a new
course especially designed with
the non-business major in
mind.
The course will identify
problems involved in what may
be thought of as the family
financial cycle. This cycle
includes earning income, the
need for borrowing, making
many diffemet types of
expenditures, making plans for
retirement, and planning an
estate.
Personal Finance, ECN 314,
will be offered in the Spring
Quarter. It is non-technical, has
no prerequisites, and will be
taught in “down to earth”
language.
The Department of Fine
Arts at Augusta College
announces auditions for the
Craig-Rockholt scholarship to
be held in the Fine Arts Center
on Tuesday (March 1) at 7:30
p.m.
This scholarship is awarded
on the basis of musical
achievement and is awarded to
an incoming freshman. It is a
one-year terminating
scholarship. The
Craig-Rockholt Scholarship is
sponsored by the Augusta
Music Club in memory of two
prominent music educators,
Martha Craig and Preston
Rockholt.
Auditions for the Robert J.
and Annie V. Maxwell
scholarship will be held at 7:30
p.m. Tuesday, March 1 in the
Fine Arts Center.
All interested persons who
plan to major in music at
Augusta College may apply by
contacting the Fine Arts
Department.
Augusta College has received
an oil painting of Princess
Augusta from the estate of the
late Judge Gordon Chambers.
The annual meeting of
Augusta College Alumni
Association is scheduled for
Saturday, May 28 at 7 p.m. in
the College Activities Center,
according to John Trulock ’65,
President of the Association.
