The Augusta News-Review - May 12, 1977 Woman’s Death Attributed An Augusta woman was killed when lighting struck near her Saturday afternoon near her residence, according to Richmond County Coroner Jesse C. Redd. The $382,000 center was built with 90 percent federal funding and 10 percent local funds. There are 28 staff members at the center. “Eventually we want to expand services to include an in-patient unit,” says Roland. “We want to offer the people in this area quality, comprehensive mental health service close to home.
