Rev. Trowell celebrates his 20th anniversary
The Rev. Jacob C. Trowell,
pastor of the Gethsemane
Baptist Church at 1485
Wrightsboro Rd., celebrated his
20th pastorial anniversary last
Sunday. The guest evangelist
for the special event was the
Rev. J. S. Garnett.
A bouquet was presented to
Mrs. Mary Trowell, and a
number of plaques and other
gifts of appreciation were
presented to Rev. Trowell. The

program Friday and a formal
program on Sunday.
The Rev. J. S. Wright
delivered the sermon. Mrs.
Madine Cummings was the
mistress of ceremonies.
