_ Owner
Blind
watchman
By Lee Wallace
“Son of Man, I have made
thee a watchman unto the
house of Israel: therefore hear
the word at my mouth and give
them warning from me. When I
say unto the wicked, Thou
shalt surely die; and thou givest
him not warning, nor speak to
warn the wicked from his
wicked way, to save his life;
the same wicked man shall die
in his iniguity; but his blood
will I require at thine hand.”
Ezekiel 3:17 and 18
Who are the watchmen of
God today if not the
preachers? And God Almighty
has said for the preachers to
warn the wicked that they
might turn from their wicked
way. But instead of the
preachers warning the people
to turn from sin and live a life
totally committed to Christ,
they tell them it is no sin to
take a little drugs. They tell the
wicked God never said it is sin
to drink a little whiskey or
even to go dancing. One
preacher told his wicked that
there was no need in trying to
live a committed life because it
could not be done. The lying
demons. God said in Leviticus
20:7 and 8, “Sanctify
yourselves therefore, and be ye
holy: for I am the Lord your
God. And ye shall keep my
statutes, and do them: I am the
Lord which sanctify you.” God
said sanctify yourselves. Now
that means you separate
yourselves from the things of
the devil unto the things of
God. The watchman is sent by
God to warn the wicked. But
the wicked take them, send
them to school, give them a
degree and a church and tell
them not to warn the people
from God but say good things
to us and we will pay you a
S 1,000 a month.

neighborhood.
“-The right to a life free
from violence and terrorism.
“-The right to quality
education at all levels, free
from segregation.
“-The right to live in good
health under a system that
helps assure modem health
care for all at the lowest
possible cost.
“-The right to be free from
hunger and malnutrition.
“-And the right to a clean
and wholesome envimoment.
“These rights belong to all
American people. Without
them there are no real civil or
human rights.
“The new dimensions of
civil rights are to be found in
the living and working
conditions of our people.
“This is our challenge, for if
we cannot overcome the
economic and social obstacles
to the full participation of our
citizens in our society, the
hard-won political and civil
rights of the last two decades
will hold little meaning for
millions of our people.
“Here in the United States,
we have the most
heterogeneous mixture of
races, religions and
nationalities ever to coexist
peacefully under the tent of
democracy. And we are the
world’s oldest democracy,
which has completed
celebrating two centuries of
freedom.
“1 am an optimist. There is
every reason to believe that our
third century can be one of
expanding freedom and
opportunity for all Americans.
“We live by hope. We do not
always get all we want when
we want it. But we have to
believe that someday,
somehow, someway it will be
better, and that we can make it
so.
“Your organization has
always risen to the challenges
presented by a less than perfect
society, and I know you will
continue to do so until we
finally achieve the ideal human
conditions for all our citizens.
“Again, 1 deeply regret that
I am unable to be with you
personally tonight. But I urge
you to make a New Year's
resolution that you will stay on
course, and continue to work
to overcome the barriers to
genuine freedom and
opportunity for all our
people.”

the Chamber of Commerce of
Greater Augusta to provide
accommodations for visitors to
the Master’s Tournament, will
be open for rental listings

“We are especially in need of
rooms in private homes and
any accommodations in close

emphasized.
The listing fee is SlO for

property is rented, there is an
additional charge of two per
cent of the rental fee.
