What is
truth?
Editor’s Note: Ms. Jones is

This question may seem
rather simple, but when Pilate
as Judge put the question to
Jesus at His trial, it was a deep
and searching one.
The quest for truth has been

the ages. It is early in our lives
that this search begins, and it
never ceases. It begins with the
simple questions of a little
child asking, “Why?” and
“How?”
My belief in God leads back
to my childhood.
I was reared in a family with
deep religious convictions, self
respect, and integrity.
Emphasis on Christian worship
was considered essential to
character building. These are
the principles that have
influenced my beliefs and given
me inner strength to meet the
demands of my life.
God is truth, the foundation
of all knowledge and wisdom.
Deep rootage in this
foundation brings peace and
crowds out apprehension and
fears. It is only when we
establish a proper relationship
with God that we are able to
put values in proper
perspective.
Values make up the wars
and woof of the creed by
which we live, and are the fiber
of our human relationships.
When we strive to shape our
pattern of living in accordance
with the will of God. It is then
that our life becomes
meaningful.
Thought: It is not the color
of the balloon that decides
how high it flys, but what is
inside.
