When worship is our of order when we follow the doctrines, The Com mandments of Men Listen to Jesus: “Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrine the comman dments of men” (Mark 7:7). Whenever we follow the doctrines and the commandments of men, our worship is out of or der. It does not matter if the order or worship is lettered in gold and diamonds, the worship is out of order. It does not matter if the Who’s Who of society is present, the worship is out of order whenever we follow the doctrines and the commandments of men. It does not matter how many people get happy and shout, wor ship is out of order whenever we follow the doctrines and the com mandments of men. Worship is out of order when the communion is not served every Sunday A lady visited the Church of Christ in Newark and was amazed that the communion was served on the second Sunday. The minister told her if she came on the third Sunday, the communion would be served. If she came on the fourth or fifth Sunday, the communion would be served. When one wor ships God in spirit and in truth, the communion will be served every Sun day. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. (Acts 20:7). There are churches that serve the communion monthly, semiannually, annually, and neverly, but the Bible teaches weekly. If you go to a worship service on Sun day and the communion Natalie Cole’s ex-husband to speak at local churches The Rev. Worship is out of order when instrumental music is used in the worship service Remember that God is the one who determines how he is to be worship ped. To the Bible, I must go for help. “Let your women keep silence in the churches; for it is not permitted un to them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn anything, let them ask Henry Carrington succumbs Henry C. Carrington Henry Calvin Carrington Jr. died April 26 at his Macon Street residence. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjec tion. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man but to be in silence. There are some women who are “pastoring” their denominational chruches, but whenever a woman preaches, the worship is out of order. This is not to say that women cannot do anything in the church, because they make a great contribution to the chur ch. However, God has not authorized women to preach. Worship is out of order when a so-called reverend preaches Man-made doctrines call the preacher Reverend. God has not authorized any preacher to be called Reverend. This word, Reverend, is mentioned one time in the Bible and it refers to God and not man (Psalm 11:9). I You never read in the Bible about “Reverend Peter” or ‘‘Reverend Paul.” Have I a witness here? Somebody says, what shall I call the preacher? Listen to Jesus: “But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your master, even Christ, and all ye arebreathren.” You may call him brother. Paul was a great preacher and he was called brother Paul (II Peter 3:15). Timothy was another great preacher and he was called brother Timothy (Hebrews 13:23). Timothy was another great preacher It does not matter how sincere one is in worship, if one follows the doc trines and commandmen ts of men, his worship is out of order (Mark 7:7).
