Listen to Paul in I
Corinthians 1:10, “Now I
beseech you, brethren, by
the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that ye all
speak the same thing, and
that there be no divisions
among you; but that ye
be perfectly joined
together in the same mind
and in the same
judgement.” Any way to
heaven is just not taught
in the Bible; if you accept
such an idea, you are
specializing in stupidity.
If you say that any
church will do, you are
specializing in stupidity.
Keep on smiling now
because I want you to
listen to Jesus who was
the only man in the Bible
who promised to build
the church. “Upon this
rock, I will build my
church...” (Matthew
16:18).
Yankee Stadium is the
house that Babe Ruth
built. The House of the
Seven Gables is the house
that Hawthorne built.
The White House is the
house that the President
built. The State House is
the house that the gover
nor built. The Mayor’s
House is the house that
the mayor build, and the
church is the house that
Jesus built.
Six days after Jesus
said, “Upon this rock, I
will build my church”
(Matthew 16:18), Peter
got happy on the mount
of transfiguration and
said in essence, Lord, it is
good to be here, let us
build three churches. Let
us build the church of
Moses, the church ol
Elijah, and the church ol
Christ (Matthew 17:1-5).
Peter’s motion was tc
build three churches; il
any church will do, Got
Almighty should approve

Let us check our religion
this motion. But God
vetoed Peter’s motion,
interrupted Peter and
told him to shut up—This
is my beloved son, in
whom 1 am well pleased;
hear ye him. God took
the church of Moses out
of the way, the church of
Elijah out of the way and
left the church of Christ
standing by itself. Why?
Simply because any chur
ch will not do.
