ELIGIBILITY: Contestants must live within the C.S.R.A. -- must be 18 years of age or older upon entering, and must represent a church and be an active part of the total program. Not more than three (3) participants from each church can be represented in the contest, and ONLY THE FIRST 3 APPROVED BY YOUR PASTOR and received by the News—Review will be accepted. 3. NOMINATIONS: A nomination form approved by the pastor of your church must accompany each entry along with a clear black and white (no color) photograph. All photographs become the property of the News—Review. None will be returned. You may nominate your mother, neighbor, friend or yourself; however, there must be only one nomination blank to a contestant. All entries must be submitted to the News—Review office by noon Wednesday, June 2, 1971. 4. VOTING: Voting points will be credited to the designated contestant as paid subscriptions are received: A Two-year subscription to the News-Review will be valued at 300 points. A one-year subscription, 100 points and a six-month subscription, 50 points. All subscriptions must be received at the office of the News-Review no later than 6 P.M. Monday, August 2,1971. Tabulations will appear in each Thursday edition of the News-Review. Prizes will be awarded to the three (3) churchwomen who receive the highest number of points from the sale of subscriptions. The News-Review reserves the right to disqualify any contestant who is found ineligible. Participants agree to allow use of their names and pictures by the News-Review for publicity purposes. Employees and relatives of employees of the News-Review and its subsidiaries and distributors are not eligible to participate in this contest. An engraved plaque will be presented to each church with a winning contestant. GENERAL INFORMATION EMBARKATION: M/S SKYWARD sails from Union Pier Terminal No. 2 at Charleston, S C. Sailing time is 4 :3O PM. Embarkation is from 2 PM to 4 PM. PASSPORT DATA: Passports and/or tourist cards are not required for citi zens of the U.S. and Canada, however, proof of citizenship should be carried. Aliens residing in the United States will need their Alien Registration Card or a valid re-entry permit. All others must have valid passports and necessary visas. VACCINATION: None required. FARE INCLUDES: Ocean transportation, accommodations reserved and paid for; service and meals on board, and using ship as hotel on cruise fare basis only. Does not include shore excursions, items of a personal nature or service gratuities. RESPONSIBILITY ON LAND: Responsibility of the owner and operators of the M/S SUNWARD does not extend beyond the vessel; when passengers leave the vessel, any arrangements made for or by them are at their own risk. ADVANCED OR DELAYED SAILINGS: In the event of strikes, lockouts, riots or stoppage of labor from whatever causes, or for any other reason whatsoever, in the uncontrolled discretion of the ship owner, at any time, may cancel, advance, postpone any scheduled sailing or call at any port and may, but is not obliged to, substitute another vessel and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to passen gers by reason of such cancellation, advancement, postponement or substitution. Ship's Master may have the prerogative of canceling the Key West call in the event of bad weather. FOREIGN PURCHASES: U.S. Residents are allowed to bring in SIOO.OO worth of duty-free merchandise at retail prices. EACH PASSENGER OVER 21 YEARS OF AGE IS LIMITED TO ONE DUTY-FREE QUART OF LIQUOR. Perfume, Liquor, and Cigarettes may be purchased in our duty-free gift shop at generally lower prices than are available elsewhere. RETURN RESERVATIONS: Passengers intending to stay over from one sailing to another are requested to make their onward reservations at the time of booking and re-confirm with ship's purser prior to departure. DECK CHAIRS: Available at no charge. BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: 200 lbs. of personal baggage free per fare; half fare in proportion. Baggage in excess of free allowance, 5c per pound. SHIP'S DOCTOR: is authorized to make customary charged for treating pas sengers at their own request for any illness not originating on board ship. DEPOSIT REQUIRED: 25% of passage is required in order to definitely secure accommodations. Balance is payable not later than 30 days before date of sailing. CANCELLATION: On 3 & 4 day cruises a 10% service charge will be made if reservations are cancelled less than 48 hours before sailing, and cabin is not resold. "No shows” no refund. GROUP RATES: Upon request. CLOTHING: Aboard ship informal attire slacks, Jamaica shirts, etc., for daytime wear; ties and jackets are required for gentlemen after 6 PM. However, for the Captain's Cocktail Party, a bit more of formality is required. For women, light cotton dresses, or dress pants-suits. For men, jacket and tie (sport jacket or business suits). When ashore sport clothes during the day—but short shorts are strictly taboo. For dinner and dancing, same sort of attire as for Captain's Cocktail Party. Bathing suits are for the beach only; a beach coat or something similar must be worn when not on the beach.
