This wedding will be, character
ized by all the sweet solemnities of a
home wedding, occurring on Thurs
day, Oct. 18, high noon, at the home
of Hon. John C. Foster.
The bride is the adopted daughter
of Hon. and BIrs. John Foster, and
has a very large circle of friends in
Rome. She possesses a sweet,cheery
nature that has made her a favorite,
and won for her nanny admirers,
whose best wishes nrn hers. She is
n bright conversationalist, and pos
sesses the characteristics which
mark the truo woman. 0
Dr. Thompson is connected with
some of the best families of Cedar
town, and Is the only son of Dr. and
Mrs. It. R. Thompson. Ho has
adopted medicine ns his profession,
and is creating for himseli nn envi-

mony the couple will leave for Co-
