The K. & W. road has com
pleted 1,400 feet of sidetrack at
Grady, and the big new washer
at the iron ore hank of tho Ala

soon be turning out tons of line

This enterprising road is also

Polk county farmers are cer
tainly preparing for a big cotton
acreage this year. A large num
ber of mules have been bought,
as have been a greater number of
farming utensils than usual, and
the amount of fertilizers sold
throughout the county is unprec
edented, It now looks as if the
South will go wild on cotton rais
ing, since the price wont up to 10
cents Inst year on account of the
shortage of the 10(H) crop.
With a billion dollar record and
the prospect of the ship subsidy
grab of $180,000,000 from the
public treasury, no wonder tho
Republican leaders decided to
call off that “extra session” talk.

Kidney trouble preys upon the mind, dis

disappear when the kid

or diseased.
Kidney trouble has
become so prevalent
that it is not uncommon
M for a child to be born
i 3 afflicted with weak kid-

ates too often, if the
urine scalds the flesh or if, when the child
reaches an age when it should be able to
control the passage, it is yet afflicted with
bed-wetting, depend upon it. the cause of
the difficulty is kidney trouble, and the first
step should be towards the treatment of
these important organs. This unpleasant
trouble is due to a diseased condition of the
kidneys and bladder and not to a habit as
most people suppose.
Women as well as men are made mis
erable with kidney and bladder trpubie,
and both need the same great rerpedy.
