(1) This contest is open to nil except employes of
The Cedartown Standard.
(2) Prizes will be awarded on tho basis of the num
ber of votes received by ench contestant, one vote to bo
given with each TEN CENTS worth of merchandise pur
chased from any firm whose advertisement appears on
the PRIZE PAGE published in The Codartown Standard
each week.
(3) The first prize will bo awarded to tho person
having the largest number of votes secured from tho va
rious firms on this page; tho second prize to the second
lurgest number of votes, etc. In case of a tie botween any
two contestants, the prize in question will bo equally di
vided between tho two.
(4) Coupons for votes can bo issued only by firms
whose advertisements appear on the Prize Pago of The
Standard.
(5) Votes will bo awarded on tho PAYMENT OF
MONEY, cither in a CASH transaction or in th« SET
TLEMENT OF OLD ACCOUNTS, or weekly or monthly
charge accounts if paid promptly when they become due.
(6) All individuals, Societies or Organizations of
any kind are eligible to enter this contest. Purchases
made by one person may bo credited to tho voting account
of anothor, PROVIDED such credit is made before the
votes arc deposited in the ballot box in The Standard of
fice.
(7) All votes must be placed in an envelope, sealed,
signed and deposited before the close of tho contest in a
box provided for this purpose in The Standard Office. The
box will not be opened nor will there be any count made
of any votes until the contest is ovey.
{8) Votes will be counted by Voting Coupons fur
nished contestants by firms whose advertisements appear
on this page.
(9) The prizes will be awarded as soon after the
contest is over as a committee appointed for the purpose
can check the votes.
(10) On a six months subscription to The Standard
60 votes will be given and on Yearly Subscription 100
votes will be allowed.
