(1) This contest is open to all except employes of
The Cedartown Standard.
(2) Prizes will be awarded on the basis of the num
ber of votes received by each contestant, one vote to bo
given With each TEN CENTS worth of merchandise pur
chased from any firm whose advertisement appears on
the PRIZE PAGE published in The Cedartown Standard
each week.
(3) The first prize will be awarded to tho person
having tho lnrgest number of votes secured from the va
rious firms on this page; tho second prize to tho second
largest number of votes, etc. In enso of a tie between any
two contestants, tho prize in question will bo equally di
vided between the two.
(4) Coupons for votos can be issued only by firms
whose advertisements appear on the Prizo Page of Tho
Standard.
(G) Votes will bo awarded on the PAYMENT OF
MONEY, either in a CASH transaction »r in the SET
TLEMENT OF OLD ACCOUNTS, or weekly or monthly
charge accounts if paid promptly when they become due.
(8) All individuals, Societies or Organizations of
any kind are eligible to enter this contest. Purchases
made by one person may bo credited to the voting account
of another, PROVIDED such credit is made before the
votes are deposited in the ballot box in The Standard of
fice.
(7) All votes must be placed In an envelope, sealed,
signed and deposited before the close of the contest in a
box provided for this purpose in The Standard Office. The
box will not be opened nor will there be any count made
of any votes until the contest is over.
(8) Votes will be counted by Voting Coupons fur
nished contestants by firms whoBe advertisements appear
on this page.
(9) The prizes will be awarded as soon after the
contest is over as a committee appointed for the purpose
can check the votes.
(10) On a six months subscription to Tho Standsrd
60 votes will be given and on Yearly Subscription 100
rotes will be allowed.
