j F. Exum suffered a like visita-
lion Sunday morning when
Thelma, their two year old
daughter and only chi Id, ceased
to longer struggle for existence
in this world. The little spirit
was released and returned to the
God who gave it. The burial oc¬
curred at the cemetery Mon¬
day morning, a short funeral
sei vice being hold by Rev. J. F.
Culpepper.
At Heartpine last week three
infants died, one of them being
the two months old babe of Mr.
and Mrs. T. Shaw. The little one
was as well as usual at bed time
and was found dead in bed in the
early morning. The supposition
is that the babe was uncon¬
sciously smothered some time
during the night. The remains
were brought here for interment.
Mr. and Mrs. Howell lost a
little one and we failed to get
the name or parentage of the
third one.
To all of the bereaved we
would offer the words of the
Savior: “ Suffer little children
to come unto me and forbid them
not, for of such is the kingdom
of heaven.'’

Mr, J, E. Lilly, a prominent citizen
of Hannibal, Mo., lately had a wonder¬
ful deliverance from a frightful death.
In telling of it he says: “I was taken
with Typhoid Fever, that ran into
Puenmoaia. My lungs became harden¬
ed. I was so weak I could not even
sit up in bed, Nothing helped me. I
expected to soon die with Consumption,
w T hen I heard of Dr. King.s New Dis¬

praise.” This marvelous medicine is
