were largely attended at both of
the Sunday services. Pastor Cul¬
pepper’s discourses were up to his
usual high standard. The practi¬

Fletcher a day or two ago arrested a ne¬
gro named Bill Bennett, on suspicion
that he was implicated in the robbery of
Mrs. T. A. Bussell and her brother at
Mystic a few weeks ago. Another negro
