| We are in receipt of
Miss Crouch Married.
The unexpected news was re¬
ceived here Monday morning that
Miss Elite Crouch was married to
Mr. Frank Hartsfield. Miss Crouch
left here Sunday morning to visit
an aunt at Americas. The report
here is that site was met in Amer¬
icas by Mr. Hartsfield, the latter‘s
home being in Tifton. She left
her aunt’s home in Americas
Monday morning for the ostensi¬
ble purpose of bidding Mr. Harts¬
field good bye at the train but
later sent a note back to the house
that she was married and asked
chat, her trunk be forwarded to
Tifton. These young people are
.well known here but their friends
and relatives were hardly prepar¬
ed to receive the news of their
marriage.
Saturday at the Springs.
The outlook now is that a large
crowd will join Mr. Shaw’s excur¬
sion party here Saturday morning.
It will he a little after nine o’¬
clock when the train arrives here,
giving all plenty of time to get
ready. Plenty of room and ice
water will be provided and the
best of order will be enforced.
We want to add a word < f cau¬
tion just here. On more than
one occasion Adel boys ln.ve cre¬
ated trouble at White Springs in
one way or another. Now the
rude action of just a fe v thought¬
less boys will do much to mar the
pleasure of the entire trip, We
trust those who can not or will
not Keep sober and be thoughtful
of the rights of others will not in¬
trude themselves upon this excur¬
sion, as a largo number of ladies
and children are making arrange¬
ments to go.
