A Railroad Man’s Prayer.
Am old railroad employe was
conv rted at a meeting and was
asked to lead in prayer. He he<-
a moment-then with

voice he said recently ; O, Lord,

road of life and plant them safe¬

; WHITE BOYS THE THIEVES.
They Were Dealing Extensively iu
Stolen Goods.
Valdosta, Ga., A fir il 23.—Ex-
tensive pilfering by two little
white boys, children of well
known and highly respited pa-
rents, was Drought to light here
yesterday, and created quite a
sensation. An investigation
showed that the boys, who are
or ten had filched
from the stores of a number of
merchants goods worth probably
more than $100. One of the boys
was seen to take a box of pocket
knives from the store of the
Briggs Hardware Company, and
the theft was reported to his pa¬
rents. The matter was taken in
hand by the parents and it was
disclosed that the boys had set
up a store in an old barn and had
on hand a considerable ttock of
pocket knives, baseballs, pencils
and other articles which they had
stolen.
They had sold a good many of
the goods to young boys in the
city before the thefts were brought
to light. The Briggs Hardware
Company is the heaviest loser by
the opeiations >f the boys, be
tween $00 and $70 worth of goods
having been taken from their
store.
Owing to the extreme youth of
the boys they were not prosecuted
but were punished by their pa-
rents.

had a pain or ache from the old
trouble for many months. It is
certainly a most wonderful lini —

Good Spirits.
Good spirits don’t all come from
Kentucky. Their main source is
the liver—and all ttie fine spirits
ever made in the Blue Grass State
could not remedy a bad liver or
the hundred-aud-one ill effects it
produces. You can’t have good
spirits and a bad liver at the same
time. Your liver must be in tine
condition if you wmld fed buoy¬
ant, happy ami hopeful, bright
of ey i, light of step, vigorous and
successful in your pursuits. You
can put your liver in fine condi¬
tion by using Green’s August
Flower—the greatest of all med¬
icines for the liver and stomach
and a certain cure for dyspepsia
or indigestion. It has been a fav¬
orite household remedy for over
thirty-five years. August Flower
Will make your liver healthy and
active and thus insure you a lib¬
eral supply of “good spirits.”
