Payne Motor Company THE DISPENSATION OF GRACE Many people have a mistaken notion that a dispensation is a period of time. This is not so, however, for the word "dis pense” means simple "to deal O', t." The word "dispensa tion," then, means "the act of dispensing ordealing,” or "that which is dispersed or dealt out." There are medical dispens aries, for example, where medicines are dispensed to the poor. Sometimes these dis pensations are conducted on a particular day of each week. Such a dispensation of medi cine may take a full twelve hours each week, but it does not follow from this that a dispensation is a period of twelve hours I It is rather the act of dispensing or that which is dispensed. The word dispensation is used many times in the Bible, though it is not always translated the same way. In Eph. 3:2 Paul writes of "the dispensation of the grace of God, which is given me to you-ward." God had committed to him a wonderful message of grace to dispense to others. Thus we read in Acts 20:24 his stirring words, FOREST FIRE DANGER BEAUTY The Art of Eye Shadowing The correct use of eye shadow to create beauty is a contem porary problem. Because the shadowing of the upper lid has become acceptable even among the discriminating, it is only natural that widespread use will lead to abuse. Never let your eyeshadow be glaring if you would be beautiful. The two usual approaches to color selection of the shadow are to match the color of your eyes or to match the color of your dress. There is a third and more glamorous approach to be reserved for evenings only, and that is to key the color of your eye shadow to the color of your hair, whether that hair color is natural or not. Use the following guide: For blondes: bright blue eye shadow or silver over pale blue For brunettes: yellow or gold eye shadow For redheads: blue-green or bronze For the grey haired: mauve eye shadow FWONDERFUL** ra — jt COLUMBUS GA. The "gospel" or “good news" of the grace of God: this was the dispensation com mitted to Paul for us by the risen, ascended Lord. This is always Paul’s message: "Where sin abounded grace did much more bound". . ."Justi fied freely by His grace, through much more bound". . . “The Forgiveness of sins, accord ing to the riches of His grace" . . . "Justified freely by His grace, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus". . . "By grace are ye saved, through faith."
