the Georgia Self-Storage Facilities
Act. Georgia Code Sections 140-2-

INVITATION FOR SEALED BIDS
In accordance with O.C.G.A. § 36-
9-3(a), the Taylor County Board of
Commissioners invites members of
the general public to submit sealed
bids for the purchase of certain real
property owned by Taylor County and
being more specifically described as
follows;
All that tract and parcel of land lying
and being in Land Lot 147 of the 12th
Land District of Taylor County. Geor
gia. being Lot A t containing 1.16
acres, more or less, according to a
plat of survey prepared by Thomas
W. Futrai, Georgia Registered Land
Surveyor, dated January 1983, said
plat being incorporated herein by this
reference for a more detailed de
scription. Said plat being of record
in Plat Book 2, Page 121, Tayfor
County Deed Records.
Said property is identified as Map 30,
Parcel 16 in the Tax Assessor’s Of
fice of Taylor County, Georgia, and
said property is located on Pilgrim's
Rest Church Road.
An Invitation for Sealed Bids and
supporting documents are available
to anyone interested in submitting a
bid at the Taylor County Office of
Planning and Zoning, located in the
Taylor County Annex, P.O. Box 278,

862-3809, The Invitation for Sealed
Bids contains a Bid Schedule which
MUST be used in order to submit a
sealed bid. The Invitation for Sealed
Bids contains other terms and con
ditions which must be met in order
to submit a bid for the real property
referred to above Bids must be sub
mitted in accordance with the Invita
tion for Sealed Bids, and must be re
ceived on or before May 29th, 2020
at 12:00 P,M. The Taylor County
Board of Commissioners reserves
the right to reject any and all bids and
to cancel the sale at any time prior
to closing. Any and all bids may be
rejected if they are deemed to be
non-responsive to the terms and con
ditions of the Invitation for Sealed
Bids, and the determination of
whether a bid(s) is non-responsive
shall be in the judgment of the Tay
lor County Board of Commissioners.
Bids shall be opened publicly at the
month ly meeting of the Taylor County
Board of Commissioners held on
June 2nd, 2020, at 6:00 P.M.. in the
Taylor County Annex,
Commissioner’s Meeting Room, 7
Ivy Street, Butler, Georgia 31006.
The real property referred to above
is being offered and will be sold “as
is”, “where is”, and “with all faults’,
and will be conveyed by quitclaim
deed only. The real property will be
sold under the terms of a Real Es
tate Sales Contract, and the form of
this Rea! Estate Sales Contract is
included with the Invitation for Sealed
Bids. This Real Estate Sales Con
tract shall be entered into between
the successful bidder and the Taylor
County Board of Commissioners.
The award shall be made to the
most responsive and responsible
bidder as is defined in the Invitation
for Sealed Bids, The Taylor County
Board of Commissioners expressly
reserves the right to take into con
sideration whether the price offered
in the bid is equal to or greater than
any determination of fair market

By virtue of a Power of Sale con
tained in that certain Security Deed
from Bobby Richardson to William J.
Wade, not in his individual capacity
but solely as trustee of Mid-State
Trust VI. and Jim WalterHomes, Inc,,
dated May 20,2000 and recorded on
June 22. 2000 in Deed Book 108,
Page 261. in the Office of Ihe Clerk
of Superior Court of Taylor County,
Georgia, said Security Deed having
been given to secure a Note of even
date, in the original principal amount
of Nineteen Thousand and 00/100
dollars ($19,000 00) with interest
thereon as provided therein, as last
transferred to Citibank, N.A. not in
its individual capacity but solely as
Trustee, of NRZ Pass-Through Trust
VI by Assignment recorded in Deed
Book 222. Page 274, aforesaid
records, will be sold at public outcry
to the highest bidder for cash before

Georgia, or at such place as has or
may be lawfully designated as an
alternative location, within the legal
hours of sale on the first Tuesday in
June, 2020, all property described in
said Security Deed including but not

The debt secured by said Security
Deed has been and is hereby de
clared due because of, among other
possible events of default, non-pay
ment of the monthly installments on
