I know some folks who have never had a canine best friend,
who do not understand how fm feeling right now. I know other
folks who know exactly how I feel, because they have experienced
that unconditional love.
Last week, our 8 year old, little fluffy, white Maltese died from
an autoimmune disorder. (It came on quickly, so, thankfully, he
didn't suffer very long.) It was a total shock to us, so, needless to
say, we are devastated and heartbroken.
Tebow’s personality was larger than life! Ilis presence was gi
gantic in our lives, especially for such a little fellow, and his de
parture has left homologous holes. There is nothing that I do
that doesn’t make me yearn for him, because he followed me ev
erywhere he was allowed to go. (Of course, he couldn’t go to meet
ings and such, but he went everywhere else!)
1 remember the day the girls and I went to Powersville to pick
him out. There were two, tiny, precious puppies, and they looked
like tWO little white clouds. Brette was immediately drawn to
Tebow, so we took him home. From then, lie wedged his little self
so deeply within our hearts that he will always be there!
He loved us all, but while the girls were still at home, he fa
vored them just a tad, (Of course, he still loved his daddy and
me, because we fed and cared for him.) When the girls beaded to
college, we got his full attention. He was my little “Angel Boy”,
and he was Todd's “Buddy”! His favorite thing was to ride the
golf cart on the dirt roads with his daddy-every now and then.
they would let me tag along.
Tebow was very protective of us. For a little boy, he had a big,
big mouth. If anyone even drove into the yard, we knew it! lie
would fuss until they were gone-even if that was a few hours
later. He also kept the dogs on TV from getting loose in the house.
He could be sound asleep, and if a dog came on the TV, he pounced
into action, running back and forth in front of the TV, barking as
loudly as he could. (He never let a single one get out!) And, don't
even let a doorbell ring (real or on TV).
Tebow had no formal training, but he was smart. He didn’t
know “fiit”, “heel’, and “stay”, but he knew exactly what a “good
boy” was, and he understood that be wasn’t going when I left and
said. Til be right back!” If I said, “111 be right back,” he would lie
back down and go to sleep, but if I said, “Let's go,” he was out the
door before I was.
I miss looking into those beautiful eyes (one blue and one brown)
and knowing everything was going to be okay. 1 miss rolling over
at night and not hearing his little growl as if to say, “Don't bother
me.” I miss hearing his little toenails as he ran across the floor.
I miss him not being just inside the door when I get home and
getting so excited when I come inside. I miss everything about
my Angel Boy!
Here’s the weird thing. Eight years (to the exact day) from when
we got Tebow is the last time we saw him. We love you and miss
you. Buddy! Nothing will ever be the same...

Three Days in May
The last three days in May 2020 were noteworthy and
historic. Friday morning Vice President Mike Pence, Tim
Tfebow, and a host of followers of Jesus Christ celebrated
the life of Ravi Zacharias in Atlanta. Ravi translated from
life to eternity on May 19.
Zacharias was bom in Madras, India in 1946 to Anglican
(Protestant) parents. The young Zacharias became a “skep
tic” of Christianity.
The family moved to Delhi where Ravi grew up.
His father reportedly demanded Ravi excel in academics
but the son’s focus was on athletics (cricket and tennis).
That emphasis proved a source of conflict.
While athletically talented and skilled, he was unable to
advance into professional sports. That reality at age 17
sent him into despondency. He concluded that he had no
purpose in life and thus he attempted suicide by poison
ing.
Fred Davis a leader of Youth for Christ International in
Delhi heard of Ravi’s deed and delivered to his hospital
bedside a Gideon New Testament. Davis asked Ravi’s
mother to read aloud to her son from it John chapter 14
verse 6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me,”
That verse resonated with the semi-comatose lad. Once
recovered, he studied the Bible diligently and years later
said, “I am totally convinced the Christian faith is the most
coherent worldview around.”
Zacharias grew into one of this generation’s greatest apolo
gists (defenders of the Christian faith in God) and acquired
the moniker “Billy Graham of India.”
Friday’s televised tribute was a fitting tribute to a fellow
Christian.
When darkness enveloped Atlanta, some William T.
Sherman wannabes joined forces with some semi-profes
sional domestic terrorists to burn Atlanta to the ground
during another downtown “racial injustice” march and loot
ing spree.
Atlanta’s police department quickly found itself over
whelmed by the nonviolent protesters destroying public
property, torching police cars, and looting private busi-

Police were unable to prevent the looting of liquor joints,
a cellphone store, and other symbols of social equity com

Keisha Lance Bottoms’ police force became mostly specta

Saturday, while smoke rose above the trails of racial equal
ity and police brutality marches in Atlanta, Minneapolis,
Brooklyn, et al. a different kind of smoke wafted from Cape
Canaveral, Florida and high into the sky along the east
ern seaboard of America. At 3:22 pm Eastern time, it be
gan flowing from a commercially built SpaceX Falcon 9
rocket propelling a space capsule destined to prove the vi
ability of for-profit sustainment of the International Space
Station (1SS) orbiting Earth about 250 miles above us to
day.
For the past 8 years, SpaceX has routinely delivered sup
plies to the ISS using unmanned vehicles. The Saturday
launch was its first delivery of NASA astronauts to that
extraterrestrial outpost.
The ISS is a scientific project of the space exploration
agencies ofthe United States, Russia, Japan, Canada, and
the European Union working out the details of sending
men to the Moon and Mars.
The satellite circles the planet every 93 minutes and con
sists of 10 primary compartments that weigh a little more
than 430 tons. It has an array of photovoltaic cells about
the size of a football field and end zones that generate its
electricity. Astronauts from many countries have lived in
the 22-year-old artificial world continuously for the last
20 years. Presently configured it provides living space
equivalent to the cubic space of a 747 jumbo jet.
Earthlings at night can easily see the bright white sta
tion with an equivalent luminosity of Venus. It is a bril
liant fast moving light. Several Internet websites provide
us continuous sighting information.
At sunset Saturday while the spaceship raced to rendez
vous with the satellite, protesters in Atlanta encountered
an overwhelming force of Atlanta police, state patrolmen,
state prison guards, national guardsmen, and lawmen from
various cities and counties. Rioters were overmatched and
unable to rekindle fires or redistribute wealth,
Sunday at 1:22 pm Eastern, NASA astronauts Bob
Behnken and Doug Hurley floated into the ISS and joined
the two Russian and one American astronaut. That ended
nine years of dependence on Russian collusion delivering
Americans to ISS,
In the dark of Sunday night while the five astronauts
orbited Earth, the large law enforcement force in Atlanta
enforced a 9 o’clock curfew and there was little destruc
tion. Atlanta resumed its Covid-19 panic routine.

Angels
& Demons
By Billy Powell
Colossians 1:16 tells us that God made all things, both
the “visible and invisible”— including the unseen angels.
Providing a clue regarding their time of creation is Job
38:4-7: 'The angels shouted for joy when the foundations
of the earth were laid,” During the six days of creation
(Gen 1:1-31), angels are never mentioned. Later in Gen 3:
1-5, we find Satan disguised as a serpent tempting Eve to
sin. Therefore, between Gen 1:31 and Gen 3:1, a rebellion
occurred in heaven. The details are provided by Isaiah
14:12-15: An archangel named Lucifer aspired to be like
God and battled against the Lord’s angels. As punishment,
Lucifer was hurled down to the earth with one third of his
angels (Revelation 12:4, 7-9). Lucifer was renamed Satan.
Jesus confirmed Lucifer/Satan’s banishment, saying: T saw
Satan fall from heaven” (Luke 10: 18). The fall of angels is
narrated in John Milton’s “Paradise Lost.”
Foremost in the angelic kingdom are the ‘Cherubim’ who
guard the entrance to Eden (Gen 3: 24) and the ‘Seraphim’
who continually worship the Lord in His throne room
(Isaiah 6: 1-3), Gabriel is the ‘Messenger of God’ who an
nounced John the Baptist’s birth to Zechariah and Jesus’
birth to Mary (Luke 1: 5-38). Michael is the ‘Chief Archan
gel’ who fought against the rebellious Lucifer called ‘Sa
tan’ or ‘Devil’ or ‘great Dragon’ (Rev 12:9) and caste him
and his defiant angels down to earth.
The number of angels is “innumerable” (Hebrews 12: 22).
Since God sends angels to protect us (Psalm 91: 11-12), it
is believed that everyone has a ‘guardian angel.’Angels
are super strong; a single angel grabbed Satan and caste
him into a bottomless pit for a thousand years (Rev 20: 2-
3). When the temple guards arrested Jesus in Gethsemane,
Peter struck the arresting guard with a sword, cutting off
his ear. Jesus then said to the disciple, “Put up your sword.
Don’t you know that I can pray to My Father and He will
send 12 legions of angels to protect Me" (Matt 26:50-53).
During Abraham’s time, two angels disguised as mortal
men came to destroy the wicked towns of Sodom and
Gomorrah. The Lord rained down fire and brimstone on
the twin cities, Lot and his family escaped, but Lot’s wife
looked back after being warned by the angels not to do so.
She was turned into a pillar of salt (Genesis 19).
For those who wonder if angels are real, angelic beings
are mentioned at least 273 times in 34 books of the Bible.
Satan’s fate is already known —He will be caste into the
‘Lake of Fire’ and tormented forever (Rev 20: 10),
