Mr. Milton Harris, who lives a
few miles below town had a nar¬
row escape of being burned out
of house and home oue night were^a-t last
week, while his family

pose he would sleep soundly when

tiring, he left the lamp burning in
order that when-the family returned
from church they might enter quiety
without disturbing him, but when

investigation, they found that the
lamp had from some unknown catise
exploded, burning up two table
cloths, from which one side of the
room had caught and burned to a

parliament for an hour in the after¬
