Remarkable Cures of Rheuma¬
tism.
From the Vindicator, Rutherford ton N, C.
Flic editor of the Vindicator has
had occasion to test the efficacy of
Chamberlain’s Pain Balm twice
with the most remarkable results
in each case. First, with rheuma-
matism in the shoulder from
which he suffered excruciating
pain for ten days, which was re¬
lieved with two applications of
Pain Balm rubbing the parts
afflicted and realizing instant ben¬
efit and entire relief in a very
short time. Second, in rheuma¬
tism in thigh joint, almost pros¬
trating him with severe paiu,
which was relieved by two appli¬
cations, rubbing with the liniment
on retiring at night, and getting
up free from pain. For sale by

hold it. Before her daughter
could reach her the wind forced
the door open throwing Mrs. Bar¬
ron across the room and against
the chimney, with her infant in
her arms, hurting her bead pretty
badly. The fire with glasses dish¬
es, pots and everything in the
room was demolished, taking off'
part of the top of the house. Mr.
Barron seeing it was useless to try
to reach the house sought the safe¬
ty of his children as the elements
seemed full of timber, and got
them down in the hallway,
when the wind picked up one of
the children, dashing it against a
large box hurting it some. He ran
to the child and held to it as best
he could until the tornado had sub¬
sided, The screams of the chil¬
dren with him for the safety of the
mother in the house and the moth¬
ers and daughters cries for him and
the children in the barn almost
unnerved him. The barn was
taken about four feet wrecking it
soon. The smokehouse was scat

chairs were found in the woods,
his outhouses we.e all torn away

each county in this state, the sole
right to lay out, open, change or
discontinue public roads, is a good

would evade a lot of hard pulling
and shorten distances with no in¬

ought to be seen after at once.
