Whersah On Ihe 2lst day of June, 1809, Peter
Reid was bought before James H Culberson, a
Notary Puolp ajpl ex-officio justice of the Peace-in
and for P.ko btintv, charged, upon affidavit of one
John J. CaisoV with the offence of enticing and
decoying a semfit from her imployer, and upon his
having been adjojged guilty, was then and there,
therefor, sentence! by the said Notary Public and
ex officio Justice ©Wi le . peace, ‘‘to pay a fine of ten
dollars and costs of ion, or in default there
of, to fc>e confined in Iw. common jail of said county

to pay the fine and costs imposed upon him hy the
sentence as aforesaid and would, if further confined

Now, therefore, considering this a proper case
for the exercise of Executive clemency, it is
Ordered, lhat the said fine of ten dollars, to
gether with costs of proftecution, in ami by the
