The Montgomery county Democracy in Kentucky declared the other day for Gree ley as against Grant. They say in their resolutions that they prefer “Greeley and Brown with honesty, universal amnesty, supremacy of the civil authorities, and the salvation of Democratic Republican insti tutions, to Grant, corruption, disfranchise ment of the South, military despotism and centralism.” Tiiis pithily explains the difference be tween Grant and Greeley as they now stand. Between the two give us Greeley all the time. Give us a Democrat before either if possible, but that impracticable, then Greeley is as much preferable to Grant as a genuine Simonpure noble old Demo crat to Greeley;. T BULLY.
