Get Ready To Rumble With The
LCHS Trojan Marching Band
by Diana Helton
UNBELIEVABLE as it may
seem, it’s almost time to go
back to school. What better
way to kick off the new school
year than by joining our new
band director, Mr. Ted Phillips
in introducing the competition
show of school year 2001-
2002. Please mark your
calendars for Thurs., Aug. 9th
at 6:30 p.m. for a BBQ dinner
and preview show. Please show
your support for our hard
working and talented young
people as they provide an
enjoyable evening for their
community. The theme of this
year’s show will be “The
Gladiator’’. Football games will
be starting soon and the band
boosters spend many hours
volunteering so that the fans
may enjoy refreshments during
our Trojan games. Please watch
for upcoming news on band
events and volunteer opportuni
ties. NO HELP is turned away!
Please contact Diana Helton at
759-2800 (days) or 759-1333
(eves) to reserve your BBQ
plate or to volunteer. Enjoy a
carefree evening before the
mad rush of the school year
begins. Bring the whole family!
Everyone is welcome!
