WHO’S THE BOMB? » Notable Quotes » Unity for The Community Ideas » Unity is a comin’ Family is key! Who’s the Boss? Who’s the Bomb? Good morning! Good afternoon! Good evening! What ever the time of day you’re perusing these printed pages, I pray you are finding your life completely satisfy ing. If not, consider your answer to these questions, “Who is the boss in your life, in your family, and at your place of employment?” Your answers have everything to do with your level of satisfaction in living. The number one issue facing the people of this county, this country, this world, my family and yours, is the same. All conflicts find resolu tion in answering the question, “Who’s in charge here?” As a single parent and the head of my household, I often feel as if I need immediate direction and sup port (maybe even an escape route) just to deal with parenting my two pre-teens. At the end of the day or over the weekend together, my family and I can easily find our selves in a contest of wills except for the fact that we all have the per fect boss, the one who rules even me, the parent. With His guidance, I cannot fail to persevere, even when tlie times are stormy and the power struggles are intense. It all boils down to getting a quick answer to; “Whose the boss? Whose in charge here, anyway? Who is going to fix this?” For the young ones, over come with feelings, it’s sympto matic at times. They can’t fig ure out how to get control of their feelings. They don’t really even understand their feelings. Our kids are overwhelmed at times, just like we adults, by their physical and emotional limits and the conflicts and re quirements of the day. Even though we know we are the boss, “the parent,” when our children get beyond reasoning or beyond consoling, where can we get instant in sight, or at least instant sup port? One Place: The Great Choosing the great physician as your boss enhances your life 100%. It's a miraclel Physician’s Office—Open 24- Hours Per Day. God is the boss I cannot do without. He is the healer and the helper for both myself and my chil dren. He is truly the bomb for you and for me and for the young ones we’re raising with such high hopes. God asked only one thing of me in exchange for His cooperation. What’s that? I had to believe that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for my sins and personally ask Jesus to forgive me of my sins and come into my soul as ruler of all of me. What a perfect Boss I have in God. As long as I am willing to surrender to His authority, moment by moment, He rules with such wisdom, grace, and love that my life flows, as a parent, as a student, as a worker, and in all social situa tions. Not surprising, considering He is the source of life. T will never be perfect, but having God as my boss, has wrought miraculous re sults in my children’s lives and mine. God really does have all of the answers for living this life. He’s The Boss who is The Bomb\ Mik Ixarsi * * * NOTABLE QUOTES FOR PARENTS * * * "How DO WE KEEP COOL?
