The construction of ± 1425 LF of
12” ID and ± 75 LF of 8" ID C900
DR 18 Class 150 PVC Water Main
and Appurtenances.
All work on the Project must be
completed within 120 consecutive
calendar days of date of notice to pro
ceed.
Bid shall be submitted on Bid Pro
posal Forms furnished for that pur
pose, in accordance with the Contract
Documents and the Plans and Speci
fications which are on file and may
be reviewed at the office of the Gen
eral Manager and the office of
Hofstadter and Associates, Inc., Con
sulting Engineers, 4571 Arkwright
Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.
Copies of Bid Forms, Specifica
tions, Plans and Contract Documents
may be obtained from Hofstadter and
Associates, Inc., 4571 Arkwright
Road, Macon, Georgia 31210, upon
deposit of $100.00 per set. No refund
will be made for returned documents.
No bid will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the Lee County
Utilities Authority prior to the time
set forth above, and accompanied by
a Bidder’s Bond, payable to the Lee
County Utilities Authority for 10 per
cent of the amount of the bid; to be
forfeited as liquidated damages in the
event that the bid be accepted and the
bidder fail to enter promptly into a
written contract and furnish the re
quired Payment Bond and Perfor
mance Bond and Insurance Certifi
cates. Bids arriving after the desig
nated time will be returned unopened.
No bids shall be withdrawn for a
period of 60 days after the opening
of bids. The Lee County Utilities Au

of Albany Area Community Service
Board on October 22, 23, 24, 2001.
