mary School.
With 31 years of teaching ex
perience. Mr. Golden has been
teaching in Lee County for 23
years. Mr. Golden received a four
year degree in biology from Val
dosta State and a Masters of Edu
cation in Chemistry from Geor
gia Southwestern. He has also
received a Masters in Education
Administration and a Specialist
degree in Educational Leadership
from Valdosta State University.
Mr. Golden and his wife Pam,
a media specialist at LCMS, have
two children, Shanna and Dean.
He considers Dawson as his
hometown. He enjoys shooting,
hunting, fishing, and collecting
antique books, old maps and In
dian artifacts. Mr. Golden attends
First Baptist Church in Leesburg.

family, along with her principal,
Mr. Keith Lee, are invited to an

which will be held on October
11. The title of her essay was
“Cover the Bases and Strike Out
Fire!”
