Seminole Ramlins
By Jack Wingate
We folks know that people who
are in this country illegally are now
called unregistered aliens, well we
have some species of plants and
critters that are registered, and
have caused near 100 billion dol
lars to the economy and the envi
ronment. From 1906 to 1991, 79
exotic species, 40 freshwater spe
cies have become extinct in this
time frame.
The culprits in Ga. Alone are fe
ral hogs, giant silvania, fire ants,
kudzu, blue back herring &
hydrilla. Seminole doesn’t have
the hogs or the blue back herrings
but we got the rest, however we
have learned to cope with it & try
to live with it as we will always
have it.
