Luneral service for Mrs. Prosser was held at Laith Baptist Church October 12. Rev. Paul Wilkes and Rev. A.L. Wilbourn officiated. Interment was at Red Oak Cemetery. Mrs. Prosser had lived in Dougherty most of her life. She was employed with Quickie Restaurant for many years. Mrs. Prosser is survived by five sons, Jim Prosser of Sylvester, Georgia, Tim Prosser of Charleston, South Carolina, Harry Tomlinson of Leesburg, Georgia, Larry Tomlinson of Leesburg, Georgia and Joe Tomlinson of Albany, Georgia: two sisters. Clara Nell Lreeman of Brownfield, Texas and Patricia Beam of Albany. Georgia and 12 grandchildren. MATILDA E. HALL GEER Matilda Emma Hall Geer, 80, of Albany, died Sunday, October 14, 2001. Luneral service for Mrs. Geer was held Tuesday at Oakview Cemetery. The Rev. Tim Bagwell officiated. A native of Baker County, she had lived in Albany for many years, Mrs. Geer was a member of the Lirst Baptist Church and the sewing club. She was the widow of the late Claude Wilson (Buck) Geer, Jr. She was a homemaker, care giver and matriarch to a large and caring family. Survivors include a daughter, Ginger Goodyear of Albany; five sons, Bucky Geer and his wife Ann Marie, Bob Geer, Charles Geer and his wife Patsy, Bill Geer and his wife Shirley and Steve Geer and his wife Brenda, all of Albany; a sister, Mary Bridges of Sylvester; a brother, Charlie Hall of Orange Park, Llorida, 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. McCraw, 70, of Manchester, Georgia passed away October 5 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia. Luneral services were conducted October 7 at Manchester Lirst Baptist Church with Rev. J.D. Templeton officiating, assisted by Rev. Tom Twilley. Burial was at Meriwether Memory Gardens with Billy Jiles, Rocky Jiles, Dan Strickland, Billy Heath, Allen Scoggins and David Lyle serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were members of Manchester Kiwanis Club, M.H.S. girls softball team, parents, students and former students of Little Bo Peep Nursery. Mrs. McCraw was bom January 4, 1931 in Coweta County, daughter of Mrs. Effie Maw Smith Hunter and the late William “Buck” Head. She was the founder and owner of Little Bo Peep Nursery and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Effie M. Hunter of Columbus; three daughters, Elaine Neal of Manchester, Patsy Brown of Box Springs and Vicki Joiner of Leesburg; three sons. Perry Brides of Olathe, Kansas, Billy McCraw of Warm Springs and Todd McCraw of Manchester; one sister, Charlotte Scoggins of Columbus; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Donations may be made to Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31902 in memory of Betty McCraw. He had an “Elmo” birthday party and cake. Lots of family and friends helped him enjoy his day and the children tried to burst the donkey pinata. Noah has two older sisters, Kaleigh and Tara. His parents are Stacey and Patricia Mullis of Putney. The proud grandpar ents are Lrancis and Sandy Reilly of Putney, and Billy and Janice Mullis of Leesburg.
