Smithville Chicken Pie Festival LCPS Teacher Feature Mickie Bateman teaches second grade at Lee County Primary School. She has 28 years of teaching experience and has taught in Lee County 11 years. Mrs. Bateman has a Bachelor of Science, Masters' and six year Specialist Degree from Georgia Southwestern. Mrs. Bateman and her husband, Joey, are the parents of two children, Kimberly Cleesattle of Leesburg and Jim Bate man of Roswell, Georgia. Mickie Bateman is a native of Albany.
