The designation of Certified Counselor (CIC) has been con ferred upon David G.B. Spalinger, Commercial Agent of Stewart Short Insurance Services, following his successful comple tion of a rigorous insurance edu cation program sponsored by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. The announcement was made by Dr. William T. Hold, Society President, who conferred the designation on Mr. Spalinger in official ceremonies conducted recently in Atlanta. The 1098 regis tered Leesburg voters will decide on a council member for Post 3. The late lessie Henderson served as the councilman for Post 3.
