This group of young people consists of two adult sponsors, four student offic ers. and a representative from each homeroom class. The asso ciation serves as the liaison be tween students and faculty and administration as they work on projects for their school and com munity. The SGA sponsors for this school term are Mrs. Donna Tho mas and Miss Mandi Green. The student officers for 2001-2002 are President- Tobi Collins, Vice President -Marianne Grebel, Sec- retary-Lacey Cook, and Elizabeth Collins will serve as Treasurer. The topic for each contest is Freedom. . . What Price? The win ner of each contest will receive a cash prize of $20, a certificate, and will be recognized on November 9 at the Vet erans' Day Celebration. Each class is participat ing in a door-decorating contest centered on the same topic. Doors will be judged later this month and the winning class will be treated to a soda celebration. We are also compiling a wall entitled: "Our Wall of Pride." We would like to post the names and pic tures of Veterans' and active military person nel from our community on our wall. There will also be a celebration ceremony and brunch for our Veterans' and service personnel on November 9, at 9:30 a.m. If you know of Veter ans' or service personnel that you would like to nominate for the Wall of Pride or if you would like to assist with the celebration and brunch on the 9th please contact Donna Thomas or Mandi Green at the middle school.
