The Lee County Ledger, Thursday, November 8, 2001 - Page 5A Veterans Celebration Leesburg Post 182 will conduct a Veterans Celebration in Lees burg and Smithville Sunday, No vember 11. The celebration in Leesburg will be at 2:00 p.m. in front of the Lee County Court house, The celebration in Smith ville will be in the City Park at 3:00 p.m. The Legion Turkey Shoot and pancake breakfast will be held at the Legion Building in Leesburg, Saturday, November 17. sAAAAAAAAAAA Lee County Primary School students had a real treat on October 30th. Many interesting people came to read Halloween stories to classes. There were clowns, pumpkins, witches - even Li'l Red Riding Hood and Mario came by to read Halloween stories to the kids. These characters were really LCPS parents who volunteered their time 1 1 Ferrellgas f and good nature to read these stories. Pastor Anniversary To Be Celebrated The Jordan Grove Baptist Church Family invite you to share in her Pastor's 8th Anniversary. Miss LCHS Pageant The Miss LCHS Pag eant will be held on Thursday, December 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the Robert Clay Auditorium at Lee County High School. Tickets are $5.00 and will be sold at the door starting one hour before the pageant. Applications are available at the high school. To be eligible for the pageant, the par ticipant must be cur rently enrolled at Lee County High and be in good academic stand ing. All girls in grades 9 to 12 are encouraged to participate.
