have a Youth Prayer Breakfast

meeting at Krystal's in Leesburg
at 8 a.m. each Tuesday for a
Prayer Breakfast.
Prayers and sympathy goes to
the family of Mr. Elbert Williams
who passed away last week. He
is survived by his wife, Mary, and
several children and grandchil
dren.
Hope each of you had a happy
and safe Thanksgiving. J.M. and
I had our two sons and their fam
ily here at home. We also enjoyed
having our grandson, Graham
Rhodes, for a few days.

ment will be teaching a women’s
self-defense class at the Leesburg
City Hall December 11. 2001.
The class will be begin at 7:00
p.m.
Anyone interested in taking the
class needs to call the Leesburg

The class will be limited in size.

The seniors at the R. S. Boney
Senior Center are having a lot of
fun this fall. They are getting
ready for Christmas and the holi
day season. They almost have the
Victorian Christmas Dollhouse
completed. It is really going to be
a treasure to someone at Christ
mas. The tickets are a $1.00 do
nation and the drawing will be
Thursday, December 20. at our
Christmas party. It has been
handcrafted by the seniors with
the help of Pam VanOteghem.
Since the project is almost com
plete, she will soon be leaving us.
We will sure miss her bright out
look and terrific sense of humor.

crafts, and they are doing a fan
tastic job. We appreciate Doris
Bateman for teaching us how to
make the Santa necklaces. They
are a lot of fun and easy to make.
We would also like to thank Lilly
Smith for helping make so many!
We went to Yoder Restaurant in
Montezuma this month. The food
was delicious and we had a won
derful time. Everyone enjoyed the
ride, and we are looking forward
to going out again. In December,
we plan to go to Barnhill's to eat
dinner.
