Among the WWII era items we would like to borrow for the ex hibit are: photographs; drawings; military uniforms and medals; journal and diaries; maps, dia grams, and charts; service papers; ration coupons; air-raid warden material; collectible items (ra dios, toys, etc.); newspaper clip pings, newsletters, and maga zines; posters (especially U.S. music and radio recordings of the era, song sheets; letters: includ ing V-mail, postcards, and greet ing cards. Another way in which to par ticipate in this exciting endeavor is the oral history project. We are videotaping a broad spectrum of WWII participants: housewives, veterans, civil servants (essen tially. anyone who lived through the war years). The video inter views will be made into a pro fessionally produced short docu mentary that will accompany the exhibit in Union Depot. All in terviews will be archivally stored and made available as a learning resource about the WWII era for generations to come.
